There are loads of quality fashion brands and sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming to decide what works for you and your style.
But it can also be a case of not having the finances. This does not need to be a hindrance for you to look your best, style wise. We can do the old trick of thrifting the finest – timeless unique pieces to elevate our wardrobe.
What we are doing here is exposing you to some brands that you may or may not have heard of. They exist, they may be pricy and still are attainable.
We all love affordable, durable well-made clothing and designs. The thing is, it does not have to be extortionate for it to serve its purpose. There are a lot of high quality inexpensive brands out there, all we have to do is search for them and be open to trying a brand that is not a house hold name. In most cases we are caught up with only going for brands that are house hold names, the brands that every one is talking about and wearing – the trendy ones. If you know what I mean.
All I’m saying here is. There are lots of options out there, all you need to do is search and be intentional when doing so.
Telfar:
Is an eponymous, unisex fashion brand established in 2005 by Telfar Clemens.
I love everything that the brand stands for. It is a contemporary brand that really stands out.
It is all about expressing yourself. You can be bold, loud, sophisticated, elegant and understated.
Telfar is all of these things and it does it to perfection. This is a brand that stands for everything I believe in and much more. It is affordable luxury at it’s finest.
It’s signature shopping bag is made of vegan leather and has been seen with lots of famous celebrities and it’s popular with anyone who loves a good stylish practical bag. It has been called the bag that everyone wants to be seen with. It is the “It-bag” I must say.
COS:
Is a minimalistic fashion brand that designs timeless aesthetic garments, that are meant to serve you season after season. They create modern wardrobe essentials. It is meticulously designed and has sustainability at its core. I love the fact that the garments are made to last and can be easily incorporated into your wardrobe because of the tones of the garments.
And I have never purchased an item from COS that I don’t like.
I love the fact that they are well made. It is sophisticated, understated, classy and unique in its own best kind of way.

Max Mara:
For me fashion and style is genderless. You can be inspired by anyone and everyone. This has always been my motto, as I shop for pieces anywhere on the shop floor when I am looking for a piece of clothing.
I work with my style, what I like and what I know can work for me.
Though Max Mara mainly caters to women, I must say that I can’t stop loving what they have on offer that I have purchased myself, that has worked perfectly well for me. Like the beret from a few seasons ago, a corduroy wide leg pants, white denim wide leg pants, which I have already styled and a coat that I’m yet to style.
You should never put your self in a box when it comes to fashion, I know people are different and have different tastes and style. Sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone and see how you feel about a particular garment when you try it on.
If the garment feels comfortable to you and you feel confident, it’s your style. Fashion and Style has to always start with what you feel confident and comfortable in.

Loewe:
This is a brand after my heart, especially the unique sunglasses and other accessories they create. The brand was founded in 1846 in Madrid. I love their designs and how they make some really cool unique pieces. Recently I purchased two sunglasses from the brand and am looking at a few other cool pieces when time and finances permit, times are hard -“Laughs”.
I frequently visit the Loewe website checking out pieces and getting some inspiration.
They recently came out with the “Chinese Monochrome Collection” inspired by ancient Chinese ceramics. The collection is truly beautiful, the craftsmanship is exquisite.
It is everything that we’ve come to expect from a brand like Loewe. They never disappoint from a personal perspective.

Weekday:
This is a brand that is mainly focused and influenced by youth culture. That is not saying that you can only shop at Weekday if you are a teenager, far from it, I am not a teenager and I have shopped a lot from this brand and have never regretted making any purchases.
It is made of reasonable quality and its inexpensive.
It is a Swedish street style fashion brand founded in 2002, It has a good mix of women’s and men’s clothing with a small selection of other external brands.
Weekday has a lot of pieces that are unisex. If you happen to visit a store or the website check everywhere as you will never be disappointed if you keep an open mind.
They also make really cool contemporary pieces that is worth spending your hard earned cash on, pieces that can also last you season after season if you choose wisely.
Ecco:
They make the most comfortable of shoes. The way they feel when you wear them is so good.
I have purchased a lot of shoes from Ecco, because of its craftsmanship and designs.
The brand was founded in 1963 by Birte and Karl Toosbuy. I love the fact that sustainability is at its core, as they are extremely diligent and conscientious about the impact their production has on the environment.
This is absolutely a good thing as we need to be kind to our environment.
This is a shoe brand you should be shopping at, as they are meticulous with the way their shoes are created. I first bought a pair of shoes at their store in Manchester Arndale a few years ago and got hooked.

The Frankie Shop:
Is a contemporary fashion brand that makes really cool unisex pieces. They are synonymous with oversized styles that are modern and timeless.
The Frankie Shop really does what it does very well which is -“Fashion For Everyone”.
They have the John oversized coat that I love so much. Their aesthetic is everything you expect from a brand like them and am here for it. The designs are really cool the way they are crafted. This is a brand that has inclusivity in what they carry and design.
Sandro Paris:
From a personal experience, they make really good quality garment. I have always been really satisfied with all the pieces that I have purchased from Sandro Paris.
My only disappointment was a sneakers I bought a few years ago, that was not really comfortable for me, because it was too tight and I did not bother to return them, as I gave it to someone with smaller feet than mine, the quality was never in question.
The brand was founded in 1984. The designs are sophisticated. I love the aesthetic and craftsmanship.
In conclusion, I mostly love timeless pieces that can be worn season after season.
The above listed fashion brands are not the only ones that I’m loving right now, there are a few others like Everlane, Arket, Paul Smith, Boggi Milano, Casablanca Paris, Mango, Zara, Uniqlo, & Other Stories, Asket and Missoni to name a few.
There will always be brands out there that works for you.
For me I never go with trends because its trendy. I go for them if they are my style.
I love pieces that makes me feel good. Fashion and Style is an investment that is to be enjoyed, as long as it does that for you, you are all good.
