The Wardrobe Staple Black Beret

This week has been the week of berets and compression tops. And as it gets colder I will start to layer my outfits a bit more.
I went out today for lunch, coffee and cake, as well as taking some cool pictures because why not ‘laughs‘.

The Beret:
This is a staple in my wardrobe. It is made of smooth leather ,with a voluminous puffed crown. The great thing about this, is that it works well for every season.
You can dress it up or down which is absolutely crucial if you are looking for a versatile piece, it also gives your outfit a sophisticated edge .This piece is from “&Other Stories”.
The Mock Neck Compression Top:
This is a very cozy but stylish piece, I love the way it hugs the body in all the right places but still keeps you really warm, I have it in another colour as well and this says it all because I love it for layering and one can also wear it on its own as I did today .
The material is durable and it’s inexpensive, it will also last you a long time, it’s become one of my wardrobe staple, especially during the autumn/winter season . This piece is from Weekday.
JW Anderson Wide Fit Straight Jeans:
This UNIQLO /JW ANDERSON collaboration is purely innovative and you can tell from the feel of the denim material and design. It is a straight cut with a wide fit. It is a workwear inspired style with a contrasting stitch, despite not being too expensive, it feels and looks very luxurious and it is worth every penny.
The Boots:
This black lace-up boots with a chunky sole is just really cool, I love a cool boot like this, I know people say you only wear certain kinds of boots for colder season, in my book I wear boots all year round ,as I only dress how I feel and not by any rules, if you know what I mean. This is an inexpensive boots from the brand Bershka.
The Tote Bag:
This bag is made from polyester, it is a timeless staple in my wardrobe, it is not designed for carrying heavyweight items ,but is durable enough to hold two small cameras and other essentials on occasion. It has a beautiful blue inside pocket and a hook for easier storage . This is such a stylish, understated and sophisticated tote from COS.

Remember to always dress how you feel ,never let anyone say to you that you can’t. Once you try on a particular outfit and feel comfortable the way it fits then go ahead and wear your armour .
