How about Kitzbühel? I was in Kitzbühel for two hours and made the most of it in my own kind of way. Kitzbühel to me seems like a small market/alpine town with a lot of history and traditional alpine architecture. I must say that it gave off the vibe of a place where people with loads of money tends to holiday and visit. They also have a few luxury stores like Bottega Vaneta , Moncler and a few others, Kitzbühel is really a clean and chilled town I must say. I was expecting to see too many people, since I went there on a Sunday, but was told that it’s only ever busy during winter because of the ski season. My visit was short, but I saw enough to want to come back and spend a longer time there. If you love skiing, hiking and the alps, Kitzbühel will be a perfect holiday destination for you, especially during winter.
Kitzbühel is on the east of Innsbruck and in the province of Tyrol in Austria.
What I Did-
I did as much as I can, I enjoyed the alpine architecture and the view of the mountains surrounding the area, it is very leafy in some part. It felt really calm. I went to St. Andreas, it was so calm and beautiful, after that I headed for a quick bite at Beluna Cafe, I had a panini and ice cream, the price was very reasonable.
After that I walked around the town for a bit before driving off.
Should You Visit?
In my personal opinion? Yes you should!Especially for skiing during the winter and if you love hiking, the people there seems really nice too .
