I recently spent two weeks in France on a summer holiday and had the best time.
It was a great trip that I will cherish forever. We drove the (1,594 km) with an eclectic car to Brittany with a two night layover in Paris and a one night layover in Paris on our way back.
Paris:
Paris is such a beautiful city, I stayed at the Libertel hotel close to Gare de l’Est. We went out immediately after we arrived, because I was mindful of the little time I had to spend in Paris. Firstly we went to this beautiful restaurant for dinner and toured the city for a bit and completed the city tour on the second day.
Where I visited-
The centre Pompidou:
There you can have a panoramic view of Paris, from the roof top you can see the Eifel Tower, Sacré-Cœur and Notre Dame. The Centre Pompidou is a complex building in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement of Paris, near Les Halles, rue Montorgueil, and the Marais. It was designed in the style of high-tech architecture by the architectural team of Richard Rogers, Su Rogers, Renzo Piano, along with Gianfranco Franchini -Wikipedia.
We went to some organic restaurant afterwards and the food was delicious, I must confess they make the best Quiche in France, later on that day i made it my mission to have some macaroons in Paris and it was worth it, if you ever are in Paris I will suggest you go to The Centre Pompidou,it is an experience to behold.

Notre Dame:
I was so disappointed because the Notre Dame was closed, there was this tour guide there on the day and he was giving a tour of the area to a few tourists and I could hear him say his name and said he was from New Zealand -so cool right ? The architecture is so grand. I am looking forward to going back sometime in the near future so that I can get into the actual cathedral. Notre-Dame, is a medieval Catholic cathedral on the Île de la Cité (an island in the Seine River), in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The cathedral, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, is considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. Several of its attributes set it apart from the earlier Romanesque style, particularly its pioneering use of the rib vault and flying buttress, its enormous and colourful rose windows, and the naturalism and abundance of its sculptural decoration. Notre Dame also stands out for its musical components, notably its three pipe organs (one of which is historic) and its immense church bells.-Wikipedia

The Louvre:
This is next level greatness and history, there were too many people there at the time, but it was still worth it. I wish I had more time on my hands I would have loved to have a proper experience of The Louvre, I am definitely going to be going back again in the near future for a better experience. The Louvre, is the world’s most-visited museum, and a historic landmark in Paris, France. It is the home of some of the best-known works of art, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. A central landmark of the city, it is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the city’s 1st arrondissement (district or ward). At any given point in time, approximately 38,000 objects from prehistory to the 21st century are being exhibited over an area of 72,735 square meters (782,910 square feet).- Wikipedia Tap Here For More- https://www.louvre.fr/en

The Drive To Brittany:
I got to experience certain parts of France that was not part of my itinerary. The drive took us approximately eight hours with a few stops here and there.

Brittany:
The calm, the beauty and serenity is out of this world, we stayed in Plozévet at this picturesque villa owned by a friend’s family, the Atlantic Ocean is about 200 metres from the villa. We got to explore nearby towns like Audierne, some fine dinning and a little bit of retail therapy. This was a really chilled unwinding experience, you could swim at the Atlantic Ocean every morning if you wanted to, which the others guys did, I could not join as I can’t swim, but I made everyone a delicious Nigerian meal. The biggest drawback for me was the fact that I travelled there with all the wrong clothes which was a shame, but it was still very enjoyable. We did a lot of fun stuff, like having breakfast, lunch and dinner at the garden by the ocean front together, beaching, hiking, sunbathing, watering the garden and relaxation in general.
