Gay African, Queer Igbo

WHY I’M GLAD TO BE A GAY IGBO MAN FROM NJIKOKA LGA OF ANAMBRA STATE AND WHY IT MATTERS

I am an Igbo man from Njikoka, proud of my identity as a gay person. Living at the intersection of culture and queerness, I embrace both my heritage and my truth. Growing up in a community rich in traditions, I’ve learned to navigate the complexities of being queer in a society that often demands conformity. My journey is one of remembrance and rebellion, showing that being gay does not diminish my Igbo identity; it enriches it. I aim to inspire young queer individuals in my community, proving that they are not alone and that their identities are valid parts of our shared culture.
Our Humanity

OUR HUMANITY!

The African governments should be aiming for equality for all, safety for all and high standard of living for all.  And not wasting time with these draconian laws that harm its citizens.
